On Mother’s Day, two families came together to celebrate of the engagement of Kumar and Rita.  For the bride and groom-to-be, it’s traditional to have an engagement ceremony where their relatives and friends join them in celebration of their upcoming wedding. Throughout the day, the two families exchanged good wishes, gifts and sweets; it was an auspicious day.
