College sweethearts, Kumar and Rita met first during their freshman year at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Both pre-medical students who shared a passion for Indian dance, this couple had no idea how their friendship would grow. Whether it was Rita’s smile across the organic chemistry classroom or Kumar’s swift moves during bhangra practice, they somehow managed to blossom from more than just friends to becoming best friends. Mesmerized by Rita’s smart and beautiful demeanor, dashing Kumar decided he wanted to sweep her off her feet not just in dance practice but forever, and the rest is history!

This past winter, Kumar proposed to Rita! And in May, I will have the honor of documenting their traditional Indian engagement ceremony where we continue to witness the love shared between Kumar and Rita amidst their family and friends. I can’t wait!!!
