When I found out that two old childhood friends were recently engaged, I was shocked — the good kind. Danny and Lizette are one of my first friends from when I started attending the Nutley church 15 years ago. Growing up, we all hung out at youth group and occasionally raided Danny’s house for food and video games. At the time, Danny and Lizette were just friends, but as time progressed their friendship grew into something more. After the sweetest proposal (oh, don’t worry, I plan to share on their wedding post!), they’ve set the date for this upcoming April! :)

Let’s Yo is Danny and Lizette’s favorite yogurt shop. And on more than one occasion it’s their little date spot. As they devoured enjoyed their cup of yogurt, I couldn’t help but think how amazing they look together. Danny and Lizette hasn’t changed much since I’ve last seen them. Danny still has his since of humor which had Lizette in tears during most of their session; and in turn, I had to keep my laugh in check 90% of the time. And best of all, Lizette’s sweet and charming personality hasn’t changed one bit.

There are no words to express how excited I am to work with them next year, but for now here are a few favorites of mine from their engagement session. Enjoy! :)
