We always have our own set of plans when it comes to the things we want in life. But part of living is the unexpected. Can I get an amen!? For Efrem and Kathrina, they met by chance in the mall. Kathrina was working for the school’s fundraiser when Efrem happened to pass by and was instantly enthralled with the dark hair beauty. Although it took a week before Efrem finally call Kathrina, the chemistry between the two was instantaneous… till this day Kat will emphasis that he took a week to call! But also admits that Efrem’s hard to get persona was part of that magnetic charm she adored so much.

Fast forward 12 years later they are now planning a wedding!! Although their story is not what one would call traditional, but it’s their story. They met, fell in love, had two beautiful boys and now getting married this Fall at the Oakside Mansion. What I love about their story is that they conquered everything life had thrown at them. And although they had plans, they embraced every moment. This celebration is more than just two wonderful people becoming one, it’s about two people doing something for themselves, and to celebrate all that they have become together.
