As Alex and Kristen laced their fingers together then made eye contact, they burst into a fit of giggles. When they caught their breath, Kristen made a joke how Alex dreads when she asks him to take a photo. And on cue, Alex rolled his eyes. That eye roll reminded me of a very certain someone back at home, and mind you that very certain someone is married to a photographer. But let’s be real for a moment, what guy enjoys taking photos!? Alex was such a gentlemen as he humored Kristen during their engagement session. And above all, Alex was doting and attentive to Kristen’s needs.

As Kristen dived into the details of their DIY summer wedding, my heart skipped with excitement. The incredibly sweet soon to be newlyweds were literally doing everything themselves, from the ceremony, meals, cocktail hour, to reception. They had a vision for it all. She already started purchasing vintage chairs for her ceremony seating… vintage chairs!  With the amount of love and energy these two are putting into their intimate wedding, I have no doubt in my mind it will be anything less than beautiful!
