In late May, Sean and Laura booked a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to celebrate their ten year dating anniversary in June. Laura had no idea, but Sean had been looking at rings for about a month or so before they had booked the trip. Sean has a really hard time keeping secrets from Laura, but this one was kept pretty low key except for two hints of what was to come: Sean took Laura’s parents out to dinner the weekend before, and he wanted to bring a bottle of champagne to an all-inclusive resort. Although Laura was a little suspicious, she didn’t think it would happen in Cabo since the trip was booked so late.

The day started out with Mexico winning a World Cup game against Germany. After laying by the pool all day, the two went back to their room to get ready for dinner. While Laura was finishing her hair and starting to put on her makeup for the night, she asked Sean to get her a tissue. He came back, down on one knee with the ring in hand. Surprised by the proposal, Laura’s first response was, “Are you really doing this right now?”. Afterwards, the soon to be married couple sat on their balcony watching the sunset, drinking champagne from Napa and soon after started heading to their favorite place together: the beach. Needless to say, Laura really needed that tissue.

How sweet was Sean and Laura’s proposal?! And doesn’t surprise me because they are just even sweeter in person! Not afraid of loving each other out loud, they had one of my favorite sessions at the Hunting Hill Mansion. Here are some favorites of this lovely couple’s session.
