In October,  I had the honor of working with a fabulous team of creatives in the Northern New Jersey area. Before I begin, can I just say that organizing ANYTHING is a lot of work. Although we didn’t have a coordinator/wedding planner for this shoot, I wish we did! Like most real weddings, as a photographer you fall into the role of creating timelines and ensuring the day moves smoothly. For this styled shoot, I assumed the role as the coordinator; renting chairs, putting together details, and contacting vendors. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun! But still a lot of work for one person who was designing AND shooting the shoot.

The purpose of this romantic shoot was to challenge myself as a creative and produce work that represents my brand. I contacted local vendors who were interested in the vision, and boy did we create something beautiful together! The theme of the shoot was Fall Into Love; using the vibrant reds, yellows, greens and oranges of the leaves we produced a romanctic-elegance scene at the Kingsland Manor.

I also would like to thank two very good friends of mine who modeled for this shoot, Hector and Cassandra. Cassandra is also a photographer of Cassandra Lynn Photography, so naturally she could not pass the chance to get dress up and smile for the camera. But wait, there’s more! The sweet part of the shoot was since Cassandra and Hector were married in court, Hector never seen Cassandra in a wedding dress. So their first look was the sweetest thing ever and completely natural.
