Let me start with saying, Happy Hump Day! All morning I was not able to sit sill, I kept getting up from my cubicle, pacing around the office entrance, and kept looking out the window. Waiting and listening for the UPS man to come my direction. I feel bad for the poor guy because as soon I heard his scanning device, I nearly tackled him in the hallway. He just smiled at me and said, “I see you’ve been patiently waiting for this.” Ha! Me, patient… “Of course” I replied with a huge grin on my face. He handed me my medium sized box, then I signed the device and jetted instantly to open the thing I’ve been oh so patient for… my new canon 16-35mm F/2.8 L lens.
Just recently I sold my Canon 24-70mm F/2.8 L lens for this bad boy. Although the 24-70mm is a great lens, I didn’t find myself using it anymore. It didn’t have the range I was looking for when it came to family events, traveling and around the house photos. I wanted something wider with the option of a little zoom; exactly what the 16-35mm lens provides. I haven’t had a chance to really test it out, so I can’t say much about it yet. But according to reviews I’ve read, it’s a really great lens. I’m going to use it this weekend on my camping trip to Lake George. I’m looking forward to it!
I LLLUUURRVE my 16-35 and definitely love it better than my 24-70. :)
Same here! And it’s lighter! Haha.
