When I checked my phone the day before Amanda and Ben’s session, I saw a forecast for thunderstorms, I did the best rain dance impersonation I could conjurer from all the movies I have seen. One of my moves might have involved some knee-begging and singing to the Rain Gods. I prayed that the rain at least held off until 9:00.  When I woke up the next morning. Zero rain. I was so happy. Sure there was a cloudy forecast, but it was a take it or leave it kind of deal. I took it. After I gave my thanks to the Rain Gods,  I sped as fast as I could to Hoboken where I finally met Amanda and Ben as a couple.

The love between these two is just… just… ugh, adorable. The best part about the whole session was they were themselves. I didn’t really have to tell them to kiss or hug, they just did it! Ben made Amanda laugh the during the whole session, making it fun and easy to photograph them. I can’t wait until their winter wedding in December, it’s going to be beautiful!
