A small tremor shook Amber from head to toe. If it wasn’t for Matt hugging her to keep her warm, she’d be a popsicle by now. But Amber had a vision in her head, and braving the cold in mid December for this engagement session was worth it. While strolling through Washington Square Park, Matt and Amber reminisced about the first time they met during college. Sneaking endearing smiles, Amber shared how Matt charmed his way into getting her phone number. It was obvious the two fell hard for each other during that time, and soon they’d be promising forever to each other.
It’s rare to be able to photograph in one of New York’s parks without heavy foot traffic. By starting Amber and Matt’s engagement session in the early AM we were able to get beautiful photos at both the park and some city streets. Since the streets were decorated for Christmas, I could not stop ooo-ing and ahh-ing. Christmas is by far one of the best time of the year! So having the chance to spend the short amount of time with the incredibly sweet soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. in New York, was a fun and a new experience.
