Since it was late September, there was a little bite to the wind, but nothing uncomfortable. When Taryn expressed her love for sunflowers, the first thought that came to mind was to have their engagement session at a sunflower field! But because of a recent storm, most of the sunflowers were diminishing. Luckily we found out that Sugartown Strawberry Farm had a small field standing strong… I broke into a happy dance!

Meeting Taryn and Kenny for the first time at the farm was easy. Photographing them being so darn cute was easier. It’s was obvious that Kenny was smitten with his wife to be. The best way to describe the couple’s love is like… eating your favorite home made pie… It’s comforting, warm and blissful. THAT’s Kenny and Taryn. The couple has a way of making you feel comfortable and feel like you’ve been friends forever.

I’m so excited to document these two for their summer wedding! I know it’s going to be warm, fun, and beautiful. Especially since there will be sunflowers!!! :) Here are a few favorites from the couple’s engagement session.
